Mokume Gane Pendant Kora in Palladium, Yellow Gold and Silver
In the Mokume Gane pendant Kora (jap.: shield), arc and triangle harmoniously combine to form a single unit. The surface of the pendant carries a wonderfully patterned piece of forging by master goldsmith Markus Wiesner. 750 yellow gold, 500 palladium and 925 silver, fire-welded, forged and intricately patterned by chasing, come together here to form the wood-like Mokume Gane structure. The supporting and form-giving base of the pendant is crafted in 925 silver and protected against tarnishing by a layer of rhodium.
