Angular profile with a lively woodgrain pattern
This model by Joachim Bartz / Wagebundt combines two distinct design elements: a clean, angular ring shape and an irregular damask pattern. The white gold settings accentuate the straight-lined boundaries of the patterned surface.
Organic lines within a clean frame
The light and dark lines of the damask steel are reminiscent of wood grain. The etching process reveals the layered steel structure. While the ring’s edges form a defined geometric boundary, the lines within this area flow freely and vary with each ring.
White Gold as a Light Counterpoint
Polished white gold frames the damask on the sides. The combination remains within cool color tones but differs significantly in luster. The patterned steel appears more subdued, while the polished gold sections create brighter reflections of light.
Clean Contour on the Finger
The angular profile gives these damask steel rings a distinctly linear appearance. When selecting a ring, therefore, it’s important to consider not only the pattern but also how this contour looks on your hand. We’ll advise you on the right ring size and the effect of the shape, whether you plan to wear the model as wedding bands or as jewelry rings.
Daily Wear and Care
For cleaning, we recommend using a soft cloth and handling the ring gently. Abrasive cleaners or attempting to repolish the ring yourself can alter the surface finish. If you’d like to have the ring refinished or resized, please ask us beforehand so we can assess the options for this specific material combination.
