The eye-like pattern takes center stage on these damask steel wedding rings. Interlocking patterns alternate with light and dark steel sections. Polished 585 yellow gold provides a warm contrast. The pair of rings is crafted by Joachim Bartz / Wagebundt.
The eye damask features more concentrated patterns than a uniformly flowing woodgrain pattern. The pattern arises from the composition and processing of the steel composite. As a result, each ring has its own unique pattern, while the shared material combination unites the pair.
The wider ring measures 8 mm, the narrower one 6 mm. The straight outer profile provides a clearly defined surface for the pattern. On the inside, the rings are domed and lined with yellow gold. The rounded interior complements the linear effect of the exterior.
A single diamond adorns the narrower ring. It adds a bright accent between the steel pattern and the gold without dominating the overall design. Thus, the pair shares the same basic design, while the two rings differ in width and stone settings.
For cleaning, we recommend using a soft cloth and handling the rings gently. Abrasive cleaners or attempting to polish them yourself can alter the surface finish. If you’d like to have the rings refinished or resized, please consult us beforehand so we can assess the options for this specific material combination.
