In these Damascus steel wedding rings, Joachim Bartz / Wagebundt combines a wood-like steel pattern with 585 yellow gold. In the women’s ring, five brilliant-cut diamonds complement the design. They are set in a channel setting.
Light and dark lines run across the damask surface. Their pattern develops during the formation and processing of the steel composite. The woodgrain pattern is therefore unique to each ring and cannot be precisely replicated like a predetermined design.
The domed outer shape blends the pattern and gold sections into a softer contour. The interior is domed and polished. The 585 yellow gold lends a warm hue to the steel and ties the individual design elements together.
The five stones are arranged in a row between the bordering setting edges. This linear arrangement complements the irregular wood pattern with a clear accent of light. On the ring without stones, the damask pattern remains more prominent; the shared material combination maintains the cohesion of the pair.
For cleaning, we recommend using a soft cloth and handling the ring gently. Abrasive cleaners or attempting to polish the ring yourself can alter the surface finish.
