A name, a familiar handwriting style, a memory of your family: We craft this Mom’s ring individually for you in our goldsmith’s workshop using 925 sterling silver. We engrave your children’s names in a standard font of your choice or based on a sample of your personal handwriting. Upon request, small diamonds can be added to the ring.
A ring featuring your children’s names in your own handwriting
A child’s first handwritten letters have a character all their own. Engraved on a silver ring, this handwriting is preserved and accompanies you in your daily life.
The mother’s or father’s handwriting can also serve as a template. This allows you, for example, to commemorate a newborn’s name in a personal way. Alternatively, the configurator offers a choice of standardized cursive and block letters.
A personal gift for the mother to celebrate the birth
A “Mom Ring” featuring the child’s name commemorates the beginning of a new chapter in life. As a gift to celebrate the birth, it combines a piece of jewelry with a personal message: This little one will always be a part of you.
A ring with a child’s name is also a loving gift idea for Mother’s Day, a birthday, or Christmas. If the children can already write, their own handwriting can serve as the template for the engraving.
Multiple children’s names on a silver ring
Design your Mom Ring with one or more names. Select the desired number in the configurator. Depending on the combination, we’ll arrange the names on a portion of the surface or around the ring.
If you’d like a specific arrangement, please let us know when you place your order. If you’d like to leave space for a future addition, feel free to contact us in advance.
With small diamonds upon request
Small diamonds add sparkling accents between the engraved names or next to a single name. Each diamond weighs 0.02 carats and is of Top Wesselton / very small inclusions quality, or TW/vs for short.
You can select the number in the configurator. You can also design your Mom’s ring without diamonds. The product images show examples of different fonts and combinations.
How to create your handwriting template
- Write down the names: Use a ballpoint pen or another fine-tipped pen on light-colored paper.
- Take a photo of the template: Take a photo of the sheet so that it is as straight and sharp as possible, in good lighting.
- Upload the file: Select the handwriting engraving option in the configurator and upload your template. Then confirm by clicking “Upload file(s).”
Multiple names may appear on a single sheet. You can also submit individual photos. Please avoid using thick felt-tip pens, as their broad strokes make it harder to recognize the precise lines.
Arranging Names and Diamonds
When designing, a layout in which diamonds separate the names from one another or accompany a single name has proven effective. Examples:
- One name and one diamond: The stone is placed next to the name; part of the ring’s surface remains empty.
- Two names and one diamond: The stone is set between the two names.
- Two names and two diamonds: The names and stones alternate.
- Three names and three diamonds: The names and stones are arranged alternately around the ring.
- Four names and four diamonds: The design also alternates around the ring.
If no diamonds are included, we arrange the names accordingly on the ring’s surface. We’re happy to discuss any special requests with you.
Select Ring Width, Ring Size, and Interior Engraving
Use the configurator to select your desired ring width and the appropriate ring size. An additional interior engraving provides space for a date or a personal dedication. A maximum of 25 characters is available for the text.
You’ll see the available options and their surcharges directly as you make your selections. Please review your selection and the total price displayed before placing your order.
Finding the Right Ring Size
Ring size refers to the inner circumference of the ring in millimeters. If you know the inner diameter of a ring that fits, you can multiply it by 3.14 to determine the approximate inner circumference.
Measure the inner diameter as accurately as possible with a vernier caliper. Placing a ring on a measuring tape is too imprecise for this purpose. Also note that the reference ring should be as similar in width as possible.
If you’re unsure about the size, the configurator offers the option to borrow a ring sizer. We’d be happy to advise you before you place your order.
