Wedding rings and jewelry from pure solar power

Since August 2012, we have been purchasing our electricity for the showroom and workshop from EWS Schönau out of conviction. With an average annual electricity consumption of approx. 6,500 kWh, the saving in CO2 emissions, compared to the national average, amounts to 2,827 kg per year. In addition, 0.00% nuclear waste is generated by our operational activities and private consumption.

Since 2017, we have been able to save approximately 2,000 kW/h annually through electricity conservation measures, primarily in lighting technology, which translates into approximately 870 kg of CO2 savings. Previously, the total annual electricity consumption was around 8,500 kW/h

Status July 2019: Planning phase for the acquisition of a photovoltaic system by spring 2020 at the latest. By means of solar power storage, the coverage of the own needs of Goldschmiede Wiesner OHG, as well as the sale of surpluses to privately used apartments in the residential and commercial building, shall be maximized.
