Tornillo – Unique Mokume Rings in Gold, Palladium, and Silver

The Tornillo Mokume rings are forged in our goldsmith’s workshop from a multi-layered precious metal composite. The distinctive, vibrant pattern emerges directly within the material and flows seamlessly around the entire ring. Each Tornillo is therefore one-of-a-kind.

For this model, we combine 750 yellow gold, 500 palladium, and 925 silver. The forging and precise shaping of the individual metal layers create the grain typical of Mokume Gane, featuring light and warm contrasts.

Character of the Tornillo Pattern

Tornillo features a dynamic, slightly twisted line pattern. The differently colored precious metal layers stand out to varying degrees depending on the location and angle of the light, giving each ring its own unique character.

A delicate rose gold line adds an extra warm accent. Three yellow gold lines structure the pattern and emphasize the ring’s dynamic effect.

Unique Mokume Rings

No two Mokume Gane rings are exactly alike. The pattern develops uniquely even during the forging process. As a result, a pair of rings consists of two complementary rings, each with its own distinct pattern.

We can customize the width, profile, and surface finish to your preferences. Depending on the design, the rings are approximately 4 to 10 mm wide. The model shown is slightly domed on the outside and pleasantly rounded on the inside.

Upon request, diamonds can also be integrated into the design. In doing so, we ensure that the characteristic Mokume Gane pattern remains the focal point.

Seamlessly forged from solid layered material

Our Mokume rings are not coated with a thin decorative layer. We craft them from solid Mokume-Gane layered material and forge the ring seamlessly. As a result, the pattern continues uninterrupted across the entire ring.

Depending on the desired effect, the surface can be etched, satin-finished, or polished. Different profile shapes and proportions are also possible.
