Jaboty is one of our most colorful Mokume Gane rings. Four different precious metal colors combine to create a vibrant grain pattern of yellow gold, rose gold, palladium, and silver.

It is precisely the interplay of warm gold tones with the light gray and silver tones that gives this pair of rings its extraordinary character. Depending on how the light hits it, different areas of the grain stand out more prominently—making the pattern appear slightly different each time.

Four precious metals—an extraordinary play of colors

For Jaboty, we use 750 yellow gold, 585 rose gold, 500 palladium, and 925 silver. The different colors are not applied afterward; they arise from the interwoven layers of precious metals in the Mokume Gane material.

During the forging and shaping process, these layers transform and form the characteristic grain pattern. That is why the pattern of a pair of Jaboty rings can never be exactly replicated.

Seamlessly forged

Jaboty is forged seamlessly in our goldsmith’s workshop. This means there is no solder joint to interrupt the grain pattern. The pattern can continue around the entire ring without a visible beginning or end.

The rings are crafted from solid Mokume Gane layered material. The visible pattern is thus an integral part of the ring itself and not a decoration applied afterward.

Diamonds as a Deliberate Accent

Upon request, Jaboty can be enhanced with diamonds. We take care to ensure that the diamond setting harmonizes with the vibrant Mokume Gane grain and does not obscure the pattern.

From single diamonds to a custom arrangement, a variety of designs are possible.

The pair of rings shown here is the Jaboty model and serves as an example of the color effect and character. Your rings will be newly crafted just for you.

Ring width, ring size, profile, finish, and diamond setting can all be customized to your preferences. By default, Jaboty features a slightly domed profile on both the inside and outside and can be crafted in various ring widths.

Jaboty is particularly appealing to couples seeking extraordinary wedding rings with a distinctly visible color effect. While many Mokume Gane rings with two or three metal colors tend to have a subdued appearance, Jaboty thrives on the interplay of its four different precious metals.

Despite the striking combination of materials, the design remains natural: The colors follow the grain created during the forging process and do not form a regularly repeating or artificially applied pattern.

The result is a pair of rings that reveals ever-changing details up close while still preserving the typical organic character of Mokume Gane.

Handcrafted in our goldsmith’s workshop

Jaboty is individually crafted in our goldsmith’s workshop. Master goldsmith Markus Wiesner has been forging Mokume Gane rings for many years and develops the characteristic grain pattern of each pair of rings from the intertwined precious metals.

You will therefore not receive an industrially reproduced pattern, but rather two rings crafted individually for you, whose patterns emerge during the artisanal crafting process.
