Jacaranda is one of the more vibrantly colored Mokume Gane rings created by our goldsmiths. Four different precious metals flow across the surface in bold, gently undulating lines: warm yellow gold, reddish gold, cool palladium, and light silver.
It is precisely the varying line widths that give Jacaranda its distinctive character. Wider bands of light silver meet reddish-gray and yellowish-gray sections, with subtle transitions in between. The pattern appears vibrant and distinct without losing its organic origin.
For couples seeking extraordinary wedding rings with a visible play of colors, Jacaranda is therefore one of our more expressive Mokume-gane designs. Depending on the angle of the light, sometimes the warm gold tones stand out more, and other times the lighter lines take center stage.
Four Precious Metals for a Vibrant Play of Colors
Jacaranda is crafted from 750 yellow gold, 585 rose gold, 500 palladium, and 925 silver. The different layers of precious metals are welded together in our own goldsmith’s workshop and fused into a solid Mokume-Gane layered material.
This material is then forged, rolled, and carefully refined. Only through this process do the individual layers open up, revealing the characteristic grain pattern.
The colors are therefore neither applied nor dyed afterward. The warm yellow gold, the reddish gold, and the light gray and silver tones arise directly from the alloys themselves.
The basic effect of Jacaranda can be replicated in a new piece. However, the exact pattern of the individual lines is created anew during the artisanal crafting process. As a result, each pair of rings has its own unique pattern and remains a truly one-of-a-kind piece.
Seamlessly forged
Jacaranda is seamlessly forged from solid Mokume-Gane layered material. There is no visible solder joint that would interrupt the grain pattern.
This is particularly appealing given the bold, undulating pattern of this model. The lines can flow around the entire ring, forming a cohesive, ever-changing structure.
As a result, there is no defined “front” side. When you turn the ring, new sections of the four-colored grain are revealed, constantly altering its appearance ever so slightly.
Diamonds as a Deliberate Accent
With Jacaranda, diamonds can be integrated particularly beautifully into the existing lines of the pattern. In the designs shown, delicate lines of diamonds follow the lighter areas of the grain, thereby echoing its natural movement.
The gemstone setting thus does not appear detached from the Mokume-gane pattern but becomes an integral part of the design. This creates delicate reflections of light, particularly between the warm gold tones and the lighter silver and palladium lines.
Jacaranda can also be crafted without diamonds. In that case, the bold interplay of the four precious metals takes center stage.
Custom-made for you
The Jacaranda rings shown here are examples of previously crafted pieces and serve to illustrate the character of this model. Your own pair of rings will be newly crafted for you and will develop its own unique grain pattern during the crafting process.
The ring width can be chosen between 4 and 10 mm. The standard version has a profile height of approximately 2 mm, which can be adjusted within the limits of technical feasibility.
The interior and exterior of the Jacaranda can be finished with a gentle curve; a flatter profile is also possible. This allows you to influence not only the appearance but also the effect of the grain on the ring’s surface.
There are also various options for the surface finish. The pair of rings shown here was finely sandblasted with glass beads. For Mokume-Gane rings containing silver, a more sculptural 3D structure can be created through targeted etching of the silver.
Diamond setting, profile, and surface finish can thus be tailored to each specific pair of rings without losing the characteristic four-color jacaranda structure.

Extraordinary wedding rings for lovers of bold color contrasts
Jacaranda appears significantly more vibrant than two-tone Mokume-Gane designs. Four precious metals come together to create a surface where warm and cool hues constantly alternate.
Yellow gold lends the rings a classic warmth, while rose gold adds depth. Palladium and silver create lighter lines that make the grain stand out clearly. It is precisely this blend that makes Jacaranda exceptionally multifaceted when viewed up close.
From a slightly greater distance, the individual colors blend into a harmonious overall picture. Only upon closer inspection do you discover how varied the widths of the individual lines are and how the color and pattern shift across the ring’s surface.
Jacaranda is therefore particularly well-suited for couples seeking extraordinary wedding rings whose artisanal origins are immediately apparent. The design is more colorful and striking than understated palladium-silver combinations, yet remains soft and natural thanks to its organic lines.
Handcrafted in our goldsmith’s workshop
The creation of the Jacaranda begins in our own goldsmith’s workshop with the layering of the Mokume-Gane material. Master goldsmith Markus Wiesner arranges the different layers of 750 yellow gold, 585 rose gold, 500 palladium, and 925 silver and fuses them into a durable composite material.
This block is then forged, rolled, and carefully shaped. In the process, new areas of the individual precious metal layers are revealed, and the characteristic Jacaranda grain develops step by step.
How distinctly individual lines stand out, how far apart they diverge, or where they converge again depends directly on this artisanal craftsmanship. The pattern is therefore not transferred to a finished ring and cannot be reproduced exactly like an industrial decoration.
As a result, each new pair of rings features its own unique variation of Jacaranda—recognizable as this model, but with a grain pattern that has been created only this one time.
You’ll find additional color effects, finer or more subdued grain patterns, and other precious metal combinations in our Mokume Gane rings and exceptional wedding bands.
