The Mokume Gane Paraiso Hoop Earrings combine the warm color of 750 yellow gold with the bright luster of 925 silver. The unique patterns created by the two precious metals form vibrant lines that flow across the curved surface of the earrings.

Master goldsmith and silversmith Markus Wiesner crafts these hoop earrings in his own workshop. The patterns emerge during the handcrafted processing of the layered metal composite. This gives each pair its very own unique pattern.

Two-Tone Mokume Gane Patterns in 750 Gold and 925 Silver

In the approximately 360-year-old Japanese Mokume Gane forging technique, metals of different colors are fused together in multiple layers. Through subsequent forging and precise shaping, the individual metal layers are cut into and formed into the characteristic patterns.

In the Paraiso model, the combination of 750 yellow gold and 925 silver creates a striking color contrast. The gold-colored areas alternate with bright silver lines, making the pattern particularly easy to see.

The patterns are not embellishments added afterward. They arise directly from the fused metals and are therefore an integral part of the piece of jewelry.
