Product information "Sipo – Four-tone Mokume Gane rings with a flowing grain pattern made of yellow gold, rose gold, palladium, and Si"

Sipo is one of our more vibrantly colored Mokume Gane rings. Four different precious metals—yellow gold, rose gold, palladium, and silver—weave through the pattern in flowing lines, creating a particularly lively, multi-layered surface.

Warm gold and red tones alternate with light silvery and gray lines. Depending on how the light falls across the surface, certain colors stand out more prominently while others seem to recede. In this way, Sipo constantly shifts its appearance slightly without losing its characteristic pattern.

It is precisely this combination of rich, warm hues and light-colored precious metals that makes Sipo an exceptional choice for wedding rings for couples who desire a clearly visible Mokume-gane pattern—vibrant and colorful, yet harmonious.

Four precious metals—a vibrant interplay of warm and light colors

For Sipo , we use 750 yellow gold, 585 rose gold, 500 palladium, and 925 silver. Each of these alloys contributes its own shade of color to the pattern. Yellow gold creates warm golden lines, rose gold adds reddish accents, while palladium and silver form the lighter gray and silver tones.

These colors are not applied afterward. In our goldsmith’s workshop, we fuse the individual precious metal layers ourselves into a solid Mokume-Gane laminate. It is only through the subsequent forging, rolling, and shaping that the various layers open up and become visible as lines, arcs, and flowing structures.

This means there is no printed or engraved decoration. The pattern emerges directly from the material—and develops its own unique design with every new pair of rings.

Even though we can revisit the character of Sipo, its grain can never be copied exactly. Each pair of rings remains one-of-a-kind.

You can learn more about some of the precious metals we use in our guides to yellow gold, palladium, and silver.

Seamlessly Forged

We also craft Sipo as seamlessly forged Mokume Gane rings. This means there is no solder joint where the grain suddenly ends or begins anew. The lines can continue around the ring without any visible interruption.

This is particularly appealing in a four-color combination like Sipo: The different layers of precious metal wrap around the ring like a continuous ribbon, making the pattern appear slightly different from every angle.

Diamonds as a Deliberate Accent

In Sipo, diamonds can be very deliberately integrated into the Mokume Gane grain. The design shown combines delicate rows of brilliant-cut diamonds with a centrally set princess-cut diamond.

With its clear geometric shape, the princess-cut diamond creates an exciting contrast to the soft, flowing lines of the Mokume Gane. The smaller brilliant-cut diamonds, on the other hand, follow the flow of the pattern and bring light to the surface without obscuring the four-color design.

The design shown is available with a 0.10 ct princess-cut diamond and/or 32 brilliant-cut diamonds, each weighing 0.005 ct. This allows the diamond setting to range from a single striking stone to delicate lines of light delicately woven into the pattern.

Custom-made for you

The pair of rings shown here is an example of how Sipo can look. Your own Mokume Gane rings will be crafted specifically for you. As a result, a grain pattern unique to this particular pair of rings develops even during the forging process.

You can choose a ring width between 4 and 10 mm. The profile height for the design described here is approximately 2 mm; the rings are slightly domed on both the inside and outside.

The diamond setting can also be customized to your preferences within the limits of technical feasibility. This allows Sipo to appear bolder and more striking—or the four-colored grain pattern can remain the ring’s almost sole focal point.

Extraordinary wedding rings for lovers of vibrant color combinations

Sipo is designed for couples who find a subtle two-tone Mokume-Gane pattern insufficient. Here, color is allowed to shine through. Yellow gold and rose gold bring warmth to the ring, while palladium and silver repeatedly introduce bright lines that add depth to the pattern.

Yet the result does not appear colorful in the traditional sense. The colors lie layer upon layer within the material and follow the grain together. As a result, they blend into an overall image that appears harmonious from a distance and reveals ever-new details up close.

Particularly beautiful is the interplay between a couple’s two rings. They stem from the same design concept and visibly belong together—and yet each ring develops its own lines, its own transitions, and its own character.

For couples seeking extraordinary wedding rings where the craftsmanship is just as visible as the joy of color and individuality, Sipo is therefore a particularly expressive option.

Handcrafted in our goldsmith’s workshop

Sipo is created entirely in our own goldsmith’s workshop. We even produce the Mokume-Gane layered material ourselves: The prepared layers of yellow gold, rose gold, palladium, and silver are welded together and then forged, rolled, and further refined.

Master goldsmith Markus Wiesner develops the visible grain of this material step by step. While the basic direction of a pattern can be influenced, its fine lines, transitions, and color areas emerge anew with every pair of rings.

For us, this is precisely what makes this technique so special. Sipo is not reproduced according to an industrial surface template. Rather, each pair is created from the same design concept, but with a grain pattern that is truly one-of-a-kind.

You’ll find additional color effects, patterns, and precious metal combinations in our Mokume Gane rings and extraordinary wedding bands.

Super Betreuung, toller Ring, perfekt!
