Mokume Gane Funa Interchangeable Clasp with 26 Diamonds

The Mokume Gane Funa interchangeable clasp combines a slender, curved shape with a vibrant grain pattern of palladium and silver. Twenty-six small diamonds complement the metal’s pattern and add sparkling accents to the jewelry piece.

Funa serves as both a chain clasp and a visible pendant. When worn at the front of a pearl or gemstone necklace, the clasp itself becomes the focal point of the necklace.

Hand-forged Mokume Gane made from two precious metals

Master goldsmith Markus Wiesner crafts the patterned top section from 500 palladium and 925 silver. The precious metals are layered, fused together in a furnace, and then forged, patterned, and rolled.

This creates the characteristic Mokume Gane lines, which are reminiscent of the natural grain of wood. Light silver areas alternate with gray palladium sections. Each clasp features a unique pattern.

26 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 0.09 carats

This Funa design is set with 26 brilliant-cut diamonds. The stones have a combined weight of 0.09 carats and are Top Wesselton, loupe-clean (TW/Lr).

The small brilliant-cut diamonds complement the patterned surface with delicate reflections of light. Their understated size allows the hand-forged grain to remain clearly visible.

Slim design with integrated interchangeable mechanism

Funa measures approximately 25 mm in length and 10 mm in width. The back is made of 500 palladium. The surface of the Mokume-Gane element can be finished with a glass-matte finish or a brushed matte finish.

Ball-head clasp mechanisms integrated on the sides allow it to be attached to compatible bead and gemstone necklaces. With compatible systems, the clasp can be swapped between different necklaces.

Handcrafted in Beilstein

The diamond-set Funa interchangeable clasp is handcrafted in our goldsmith’s workshop. The combination of a two-tone grain pattern, a slender shape, and diamond setting makes it a truly special jewelry clasp.
