Mokume Gane Kora Interchangeable Clasp with Gold and 26 Diamonds

The Mokume Gane Kora Interchangeable Clasp combines three different-colored precious metals with the delicate sparkle of 26 brilliant-cut diamonds. Yellow gold, palladium, and silver create a vibrant grain pattern that is further accentuated by the diamond setting.

The shield-shaped design makes Kora a unique clasp for pearl and gemstone necklaces. Instead of disappearing discreetly at the nape of the neck, the clasp can be worn prominently at the front, where it functions as a pendant in its own right.

Three-tone Mokume Gane from our goldsmith’s workshop

Master goldsmith Markus Wiesner crafts this patterned jewelry element from 750 yellow gold, 500 palladium, and 925 silver. The precious metals are built up in multiple layers, permanently fused together through fire welding, and then forged, patterned, and rolled.

This creates the characteristic Mokume Gane grain. Warm gold lines run through the light silver surfaces and darker palladium areas. The pattern forms directly within the metal and is not an applied coating.

Since the pattern of the lines develops individually during the handcrafted process, no two Kora clasps are exactly alike.

26 brilliant-cut diamonds complement the metal pattern

This version of the Kora interchangeable clasp is set with 26 brilliant-cut diamonds. Together, they weigh 0.09 carats. The diamonds are Top Wesselton, loupe-clean (TW/Lr).

The small stones add additional light reflections to the design. Their sparkle creates a charming contrast to the matte surface and the organically flowing lines of the tri-colored Mokume-Gane composite.

Attachment Mechanism for Pearl and Gemstone Necklaces

Kora features ball-head clasp mechanisms integrated into the sides. This allows the jewelry element to be attached to compatible pearl and gemstone necklaces.

With compatible clasp systems, Kora can be removed from one necklace and attached to another. This allows you to combine different necklaces with the same Mokume-Gane clasp.

A pearl or gemstone necklace is not included in this offer.

The combination of tri-colored Mokume Gane, geometric design, and diamond setting makes this Kora clasp a unique piece of jewelry. It is crafted in our goldsmith’s workshop in Beilstein.
