Mokume Gane wedding rings with plain wood pattern
As simple as the wood species Sipo, as simple the appearance of the Mokume Gane rings Sipo. Interestingly, this simple pattern, which runs diagonally to the wedding rings, is the result of a very elaborate manufacturing technique. By multiple welding of different Mokume Gane bars, master goldsmith Markus Wiesner created the basic material for this pair of wedding rings. It is very exciting to discover that a very wild pattern can be seen inside the rings. Quite in contrast to the outer appearance of the Mokume Gane wedding rings Sipo. For a moment you would almost be tempted to turn these rings around to see how the wild inner pattern appears on the outside. However, we have decided to leave these rings of inner wildness and outer simplicity exactly as they are and, if necessary, try a new pair for the discovery of the hidden wilderness.
Without seam and joint - The wedding rings Sipo also show endless patterns
What is often difficult to see on pictures, because they almost always show only one view of Mokume Gane wedding rings, is the seamless nature of the Mokume Gane patterns of the rings from our workshop. As we attach great importance to the symbolic power of endlessness in the production of wedding rings, we only manufacture rings without seam and joint. Should you nevertheless wish to have rings with butt joint, this is of course also possible. In fact, it requires less working time and qualification, and requires less starting material to produce such so-called band rings. For this reason they are also considerably cheaper in price. On the opposite side, however, besides the symbolic power of an endless ring, there is also the optical appearance of a Mokume Gane band ring. At one point there is a clear pattern interruption, which can also lead to problems with later ring width changes. Especially if the rings are to be stretched further, they can tear open at such a solder joint. Often the solder joints, mostly made of silver solder, show different tarnishing behaviour compared to the silver layers of the Mokume Gane wedding rings.

What happens to Mokume Gane wedding rings with changing ring width
Many things can change in life. Personal ring sizes are also subject to certain fluctuations. For this reason it is important that your Mokume Gane wedding rings can be adjusted. Unfortunately today a lot of wedding rings are also offered in materials which cannot be changed. Such as titanium, carbon, steel, or damask steel, tantalum, and probably a lot more that we do not know yet. If these are inexpensive rings that can easily be replaced later, this may not seem so tragic. At least if you disregard the ideal value of a wedding ring pair.
With all Mokume Gane wedding rings manufactured by us, as well as classic wedding rings, we attach great importance to the fact that the width can be changed later. A great advantage for our bridal couples and customers.

Mokume Gane wedding rings from passion
Master goldsmith Markus Wiesner, is one of two owners of "Wiesner - Die Goldschmiede" and has been making Mokume Gane wedding rings and jewelry with enthusiasm and passion since 2006.
In doing so, Markus Wiesner has basically dedicated himself to the classical forging technique in the endless process. These Mokume Gane wedding rings, which are forged without a seam or butt joint, symbolize the unforgettable nature of love in a unique way.
The fact that the Mokume Gane wedding rings of "Wiesner - Die Goldschmiede" are offered in each case also with butt joint, serves only to make aware that there are differences in the quality. Since some offerers of these wedding rings manufacture and offer these with butt joint, and this is not always immediately obvious, the price however clearly more favorably precipitates, we place this in our presentation directly opposite.
The second owner of "Wiesner-Die Goldschmiede" is Michael Wiesner. As a trained businessman and business economist (VWA), he fills the area of photography, web design, product ideas and presentation, and marketing. In the area of idea generation, the collections of zodiac rings (2001) and mama rings (2004) are to his credit. He is also responsible for the discovery of the Mokume Gane technique as an interesting forging art for "Wiesner-Die Goldschmiede".
