Very special wedding rings in old gold

It is always a very special challenge when bridal couples with their family gold, or old jewellery in our workshop ...

...from which their wedding rings will then be made. Of course it has a very special charm if the rings are made of family gold for life. It depends very much on which pieces of jewellery, which quality and which gold alloy should be melted down. If the amount of solder, as is the case with necklaces, is very high, the rings may later show unsightly stains.

In this case it is very important that the goldsmith selects the right pieces of jewellery for the melt and, if necessary, adds fine gold or silver in order to obtain an alloy that is as homogeneous as possible with the right fineness. A little experience is certainly an advantage at this point.

In the case of the yellow gold wedding rings shown here, it was expressly desired that the rings would then have a very strong yellow gold tone and a fineness of 750/000.

The narrow ladies' ring has 25 flawless diamonds, which add to the value of these special wedding rings with their fantastic sparkle. We are very happy that we were allowed to make such a great pair of rings for our customers and are very curious about their reaction.
