Diogo Romeiro | Mokume Gane Creator

born in the city of São Paulo, Brazil on 16/04/1978
Jeweller since 1999, began to specialise in the technique of Mokume Gane in 2001.

He also took courses in:

  • Drawing
  • Gemstone setting
  • cutlery
  • artistic engraving
  • die forming
  • eastern repoussé and chasing


He trained students in his studio and gave courses at jewellery schools in the city of São Paulo, as well as participating in numerous exhibitions throughout Brazil. He currently lives on a farm in the mountains. In the midst of nature, he draws inspiration for his jewellery pieces, but also for objects such as lighters and knives. In the production process, he not only uses various non-ferrous metal alloys, but also raw materials such as demolition wood, Brazilian gemstones and steel.

Nacido en la ciudad de São Paulo, Brasil el 16/04/1978

Joyero desde 1999, comenzó a especializarse en la técnica de Mokume-Gane en 2001.

También tomó cursos en:

Formó estudiantes en su estudio e impartió cursos en escuelas de joyería de la ciudad de São Paulo, además de haber participado en numerosas exposiciones en todo Brasil.

Actualmente vive en una granja en la montaña. Es en medio de la naturaleza donde se inspira para producir sus joyas y otros objetos, como encendedores y cuchillos.

Su método de creación, además de depender de diversas aleaciones de metales no ferrosos, también incluye materias primas como madera de demolición, gemas brasileñas y acero.
